Autumn

  • Autumn doesn’t have to be all red and gold. September is a wonderful month for blue flowers. Delphiniums, brodea, veronica, flowering mint, hydrangea and gentian are all plentiful at this time of year. Hydrangea, in particular, is very popular: use it on its own in a bridal bouquet or float a few heads in a glass bowl for a simple but effective centrepiece.
  •
  • Crespedia or ‘Billy Balls’ are really popular at the moment and make a great long lasting buttonhole that can be dried as a keepsake of the day..Here we added senneccio maritima and white heather. This Yellow and Grey combination is on trend, you’ll find it being used in lots of interior and fashion designs.
  •
  •   Sunflowers continue to be a firm favourite. Ideal for church decoration, combine them with pretty margarites and hydrangeas.

  • Green is a great Autumnal colour look out for green roses, hypericum berries, hydrangea, carnations, lisianthus and these fantastic green cymbidium orchids.
  •
  •
  • . Take advantage of the wide variety of Autumn fruits and berries by including them in your table centres. Here we used mini pears blackberried ivy and scabious stellata but look out for  blackberries and  rosehips in your garden and hedgerow.
